Title: Boroburá
Abstract: Word-list of the Boroburá (or Puruborá) language, extracted from Dr. Emil Heinrich Snethlage’s diary of his field research in Rondônia, Brazil (8-2-1934). Poroburá is a branch of the Tupi language stock. The word list was probably collected in "Barcelona", a small settlement on the Guaporé, from a woman reported to be from the Rio Branco (cf. F. Caspar, Dissertation, 1953, p. 76). The words are accompanied by a German translation.
